1.     John’s Street Pharmacy Pty Ltd A.C.N. 120 786263 as trustee for John’s Street Pharmacy Unit Trust A.B.N. 97 681 019 004 (“John’sStreet Pharmacy”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is bound by theAustralian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988(Cth) (“Privacy Act”).

2.     We understand the importance of protectingpersonal information and are committed to handling it responsibly andtransparently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use, anddisclose personal information (that is, information or an opinion—whether trueor not—about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonablyidentifiable), and the rights individuals have in relation to that information.

3.     John’s Street Pharmacy is:

a.      Theoperator of this website and owner of the pharmacy business;

b.      Affiliatedwith the pharmacies listed at https://www.starpharmacy.com.au/our-stores (“StarPharmacy Group Business”).

a.      John’sStreet Pharmacy in its own capacity and/or as a Star Pharmacy Group Business;

11.  We may use personal information to:

a.      Verifyyour identity and communicate with you;

b.      Provide,maintain, improve, and develop our products and services;

c.       Administerloyalty programs and promotions;

d.      Manageorders, payments, deliveries, and refunds;

e.      Conductdirect marketing (in accordance with the APPs);

f.       Performresearch and analysis to improve customer experiences;

g.      Maintainaccurate records;

h.      Engagesuppliers, contractors, and advisers;

i.       Generate aggregate or statistical data forbusiness insights; and

j.       Comply with legal obligations.

12.  We will not use or disclose your healthinformation for direct marketing without your consent.

Direct Marketing

13.  From time to time, we may use your personalinformation for direct marketing about new products, services, and promotions.Such communications may occur via mail, email, SMS, or telephone, subject toapplicable laws.

Disclosure of personal information overseas

17.  We primarily operate in Australia but engageteam members and service providers overseas, including in the Philippines.

18.  By providing your personal information to us,you consent to its transfer overseas for business purposes. You acknowledgethat overseas entities may not be bound by the Privacy Act and that APP 8.1will not apply.

DE-IDENTIFIED INFORMATION

19.  Where information is aggregated, anonymised,or de-identified so that you are no longer reasonably identifiable, it is nolonger considered personal information and may be used or disclosed for anypurpose.

DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY

General Security

20.  We take reasonable steps to protect personalinformation from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification,or disclosure. Our measures include:

a.      SecureIT systems and restricted electronic access;

b.      Physicalsafeguards for hard copy records; and

c.       Documentedprocedures for record management and disposal.

Data Breaches

21.  If we suspect a data breach has occurred, wewill promptly investigate and assess whether it constitutes an “eligible databreach” under the Privacy Act.

22.  Where required, we will notify affectedindividuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) inaccordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

24.  We will verify your identity beforeprocessing the request and respond within a reasonable timeframe. A reasonableadministrative fee may apply for access requests (but not for correction).

25.  If access or correction is refused, we willprovide written reasons and, where possible, alternative options for accessingthe information.

26.  We also have an ongoing obligation to correctinformation that is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.
